About Us
The mission of the Abused Adult Resource Center is to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by establishing and maintaining a program which will provide temporary shelter, crisis intervention, prevention, education, support and hope as a vision to eliminate violence.
The Abused Adult Resource Center (AARC) has been helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault for more than 40 years. Serving south central North Dakota, we provide emergency support, crisis intervention, temporary shelter, food, counseling, and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Our goal is to help our clients and their families find hope through a life free from abuse. We also enjoy working with our communities to create an awareness and sensitivity to domestic violence and sexual assault issues, establishing programs that aim to break the cycle of abuse.

♥️Thanks to everyone who donated to the MOMS Club/Laughing Sun Brewing Diaper Drive! This mountain of diapers will be taken to the Abused Adult Resource Center, where they will distribute them to local moms and children in need. It may not seem like much, but it will help take one worry off those mamas' hearts.

We can't thank EVERYONE enough for joining us this past weekend for our first ever Mother's Day Family 5K !!! We had almost 250 participants! Also, thank you to every single volunteer and LSB employee who put their time and effort into this thing. Another HUGE THANKS to all of our awesome sponsors. We hope you're a part of the festivities next year!
